This Blanco is clear and light bodied, with a light and smooth nose of cooked agave and a hint of cinnamon. An initial taste of mint and agave, including light herb and olive. A simple and medium aftertaste ending with sweet cinnamon.

Aroma: Tons of sweet, cooked agave and a hint of white pepper. Really inviting.
Initial Taste: A clean sweet agave taste. Great sweetness and agave flavor.
Body: Very oily and it has a superb mouth feel. Still just tons of agave...and it tastes so good.
Finish: A wonderful peppery linger to go along with the agave sweetness that has been there throughout. I wouldn't expect anything less.
This is a superb blanco. From the nose to the texture to the flavor to the finish, it's like having a liquid agave piña in your mouth. Really crisp and flavorful and also extremely easy to drink. This would make a great cocktail, but I will be sipping and savoring this blanco. This is one of the better blancos that I've tasted in recent memory. Well done, Vida Tequila!

A crisp and superb blanco!
Sometimes you try an expression of a specific tequila and you know that you want to try the rest of the line. Then you put it off and months later you revisit the first bottle and wonder why it took you so long to get the next one. That's the case for me with Vida Tequila. I really enjoyed their reposado and now I'm finally getting around to tasting the blanco. I don't feel like waiting anymore.

Tasted out of a riedel glass on 12/25/08. Got a bottle as a gift! I liked this blanco very much. I really liked the presentation, especially when it matches whats in the box. I think this one would an excellent mixes as well as being a great sipper.

Vida Tequila Blanco NOM 1460.Tasted in a Riedel glass on 11/15/07. This tequila has a very pleasant full agave aroma with a slightly sweet herbaceous quality and maybe just a hint of cinnamon. It has fair alcohol nose burn and a bright, clear look. First taste was stronger than I expected with medium body and a nice mouth feel. Mildly sweet and smooth with moderate heat, it has a complex sustained agave/alcohol presence that is consistent throughout the tasting, following through to the finish. With zero wood, vanilla, or fruit, I noticed very little in the way of flavors or aromas to detract from the straightforward agave. Clean and unmanipulated, very much what I like in a blanco. I thought this tequila would be milder, but for me it had a much stronger than expected profile. While nicely presented by means of an elegant and sophisticated un-glossy white outer box introduction, it holds more of the same inside. Nice medallion hang tag, simple labeling with foil stamped logo, and a hand crafted no nonsense bottle all thoroughly compliment. Even without all the imagery, I would still consider this to be a top notch competitor among better blancos. A good effort that is worthy of your consideration.
