Tequila Review
Tequila Don Fulano Silver
Don Fulano's Silver Tequila has the purest flavor of the Agave plant and of the rich red soil, characteristic of the upper Jalisco region where it is grown. With no exposure to wood at all, it is bottled directly after the column-tower distillation process. Wonderful for sipping straight, with tonic or as the quintessence for the creation of an exceptional margarita.

I prefer lowland tequila versus highland tequila. DF has a great nose. There is definitely some olive notes and the finish is very unique.
I paid $49.99 through an internet retailer. It is worth it. The bottle is stunning and fitting. The tequila is very stunning.
I drank this DF neat and in margaritas. I preferred it neat. Some tequilas really strut their stuff when in a cocktail but this one did not require anything else.
I would recommend this tequila. I also plan to try the 100 proof blanco offered by Don Fulano.

Great Lowlands Tequila
I had really high hopes for this tequila after reading about it on here for some time. While it did not meet my expectations it was still a great tequila. I was probably wrong in my expectations anyway.

Aroma: A very present nose of agave, green olive, and grass.
Initial Taste: A semi oily mouth feel, on the tip of the tongue, its mildly sweet with no bitterness.
Body: A very earth agave body, with bold hints of olive.
Finish: A long semi heated finish, with a lingering olive aftertaste.

Purchased a bottle from Top Line Liquor for $45.99 on 10/24/09. Tasted out of a snifter. An excellent blanco, full of character, Don Fulano blanco is totally top shelf to me. Personally, I would never mix this one.

Don Fulano silver is a must try for anyone who enjoys unaged tequila.

Recently I have found myself preferring Don Fulano silver to all other blancos - even Casa Noble Crystal. The nose is a wonderful cooked agave and floral aroma. The initial taste is peppery with plenty of agave (the sign of any good blanco), and when allowed to rest in the mouth, a subtle sweetness of citrus and mint is brought out. The editor mentioned grapes and so I tasted again with that in mind. There is a hint of bitterness and a flavor I would describe as a grape-seed oil. I'm willing to admit that I could be over-thinking it, however. The finish is short, sweet, and smooth - perfect for a blanco.
