Leyenda del Milagro Tequila Romance Bottle

Leyenda del Milagro Tequila Romance is made from 100% estate grown, hand selected blue agave harvested from the highlands of Jalisco. The heart of the blue agave is roasted in clay ovens made from the same volcanic-rich soil where the blue agave flourishes.

Inner chambers are amazingly suspended inside the unique outer bottle. The 3 inner chambers are filled with 100% Blue Agave Select Barrel Reserve Anejo, each chamber representing a year of its aging to maturity. The outer chamber is filled with 100% Blue Agave Reposado aged to perfection for 9 months in oak barrels. Hand-blown crystal bottle.

This is a tricky tequila to rate since the bottle contains two types of a tequila, a reposado and an anejo. They are both excellent tequilas and are quite smooth. The reposado has more of an agave taste then then anejo but also more of a burn but is much smoother compared to other tequilas. The anejo is one of my all time favorites it is very smooth and has a woody oaky taste that I enjoy in tequilas. The agave taste is much more subtle then what can be tasted in the reposado but it is still there. The price is a bit high considering what it costs to buy either of the Milagro Select Barrel Reserve bottles on their own. Still if you enjoy a quality tequila and want a bottle to display this is recommended.
