NEW YORK-(Business Wire)-March 13, 2007 - Jose Cuervo Especial, the number one Tequila worldwide and the 8th largest global distilled spirit brand, Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita, the first super premium ready-to-serve margarita, and 1800, the world's best selling super-premium Tequila, have been named "Hot Brands" in the March 1st and 15th issue of Impact, the leading spirits industry publication. The awards will be presented by Impact editor and publisher, Marvin Shanken, at the 64th Annual Wine & Spirits Wholesaler Association Convention in Orlando, FL from April 28th to May 1st, 2007.

The annual Impact "Hot Brand" Awards recognize brands and companies that have attained over 200,000 (9 liter) case equivalent depletions in the spirits, beer and wine categories while also meeting one of the following criteria:
-- An established brand with at least double digit growth for each of the past three calendar years (2003 to 2006);
-- A brand that has existed for less than 3 years, and a brand which had been flat or declining previously, has demonstrated at least 15% growth in 2006;
-- A top 10 brand with at least 5% growth in 2006, and at least 15% growth since 2003.
As the 8th largest distilled spirits brand in the world, Jose Cuervo qualified as a "special consideration" brand for achieving at least 5% growth in 2006 and at least 15% growth since 2003. Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita qualified as a "significant" new product with at least 15% growth in 2006. 1800 Tequila qualified as an established brand with at least three years of consecutive double digit growth.
