L Scorpion

L Scorpion is a uniquely authentic bar and restaurant that speaks to the true tequila culture and traditions of Mexico.

Serving only Mexico's finest 100% blue agave tequilas and mezcals, our bartenders concoct margaritas ad cocktails made from an expansive selection of market fresh ingredients. From cucumber margaritas to fresh champagne sangria, each drink served across our bar is a true work of art.

To compliment our selection of over 160 hand-selected tequilas and mezcals, L Scorpion also features a full bar and a menu of signature small plate dishes that showcase a contemporary approach to highlighting the classic flavors of Mexican cuisine.

Our "tequiliers" (tequila sommeliers) strive to provide an authentic cultural experience in a variety of ways such as food pairings, tequila flights, and table-side margarita presentations, ensuring a rich and memorable experience for each of our guests.

The Tequila selection was great. But being as it is that I am a Tequila lover, any room with over 200 Tequilas to choose from is great.
Coming to a Tequila bar, I would think that the bartenders would know the customer will want to talk Tequila at some point. The bartender who helped me was somewhat helpful (not as much as I liked) and I cant even say it was because he was busy (there were only three other people there).
Nevertheless, I live two blocks away and my Tequila Bar choices are limited. I intend to go again with more friends and try to enlighten them on Tequila as well. Tequila bars are a new thing in some places, and I am aware itll take some time for them to make their mark!

Wow! What a dissapointment. I went to this place the last time I was in LA and would not recommend it to anyone. One of the bartenders said it best, "I don't know much about tequila, I just work here," when I asked a tequila related question. They could not even find the bottles on the shelves. I had high expecations for this tequila bar because they originally did tequila tastings every week but I guess the employees never attended them. If you want to pay high prices, get poor service (which is interesting since it is a small place), and learn nothing then this is the place for you. I have known many people that have gone here and they typically all have a similar experience to mine. What a shame.
