Good sales prices and speedy service, plus they offered deals to folks who followed them on Twitter and Facebook. Now that they've stopped shipping, I have to go elsewhere and have stopped following their Twitter and Fbook accounts. Still, it was good while it lasted.

They do have an online database that makes it easy to find what you're looking for before you make the trip, but don't expect to find anything exceedingly rare or special.

However, this was one of the only places in Colorado I was able to find Azunia blanco, so I'll give them that.

They have a much better selection of beers and wines than they do spirits.

What's the point of having a website if you can't order products online?

My benchmark for any online site is Cabo Wabo Uno and Reposado, my two favorite tequilas. The lowest I've found them online is $129.99 and $27.99, respectively. If a site's prices are close, then I'll compare shipping options for total cost. A bottle from a local store here in NY runs about $45 plus tax. ($220 for the Uno the one time I found it!)

GoodyGoody's site listed NO prices. You have to email for availability, which I did. It took 2 days to get a response, which was "call one of two locations and see if they have it!" No pricing. So I'll pass, and continue to buy my spirits from Hitimewine.net, the cheapest I've found so far!

Boy am I glad I did! I live in New York and liquor is highly regulated here. Prices are all state mandated. The prices here are FANTASTIC! The selection is huge!

I have never been to the actual store, but if I ever find myself in that neck of the woods I will drop in. They can only ship to certain states, and some of the ones they can ship to are wine only.

Do yourself a favor and check them out before your next purchase!

One caveat: you must live in one of the states they can ship to! Thankfully I do, as they are a good 30-40% cheaper than any local New York State liquor store, and any other web site I have found! Case in point: Cabo Uno- $129 Cheapest locally- $219, next cheapest web site I found: $149! Same goes for my every day poison- Cabo Wabo Reposado: $27.99! On sale here in NY it goes for $44! Buy in bulk and save on shipping!

On one occasion when I had to call for assistance, they were very helpful and friendly!

I have placed multiple orders, and will continue to do so until my liver gives out...

My wife and I went for the first time last weekend and were overwhelmed by the selection of agave products. One of the girls behind the counter said they have over 400 varieties, and another corrected her saying, Oh no it's over 700 now. Whatever the count, I've never seen so many in one store. The prices are very good, too. The only drawback is that almost all the bottles are behind the counter, so no fondling. You either have to just look or ask the knowledgeable staff. There's also an amazing beer selection, as well as a smaller selection of other spirits. I love this place.

And everyone in the store seemed cool.

They have an okay selection, but nothing stunning for such a large liquor store, especially here in California, where were fortunate to have many tequilas imported. And the prices, meh. Most bottles are only slightly more expensive than what you'd want to pay (whatever that means. We all WANT to pay less than tequila costs). No big deal for SF. But then there are some real head scratchers. I don't remember how much it was in the store, but on their site it's $48 bucks for Corazon Blanco? Seriously? I mean, EVERYONE in San Francisco sells Corazon and usually for about $20 cheaper. And they also jack up the price of Don Pilar Anejo, which angers me more than average since it's my current favorite. I think it was about $55. It's $34 at Mike's Liquors on Mission, and most tequila site reviews put the price right around $35 to $40. They also had Corrido Blanco as well, which is normally priced around $36 or so, for $50 bucks or more (Maybe it's because Corrido is pretty tough to find). As you can probably figure out from this review, I'm a big time bargain/value hunter ("Cheap," I believe, is another term some use for it). The Jug Shop didn't do anything for me in that department.

So, all I can say about The Jug Shop is that it's a nice, well kept store. The door worked flawlessly when I exited after looking at an only average selection for such a large store and their above average prices on pretty easy to find bottles. If you live in the neighborhood, check it out, but it's not worth going across town for.

(This was my first experience with purchasing spirits online). Great selection, excellent price, & impeccable shipping. BTW, Wine & Liquor Depot has the fairest shipping charges of any online store listed on tequila.net, believe me, I checked them all. Highly recommended!!!

Not particularly large, but what they had was excellent with a wonderful cross section of prices. Everything from 100% Agave El Jimador all the way to Herradura Seleccion Suprema. Prices also seemed decent for the area. Staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth the trip when in the twin cities.

A must stop before heading home.

I'd say it has over 30 brands (all complete lines) to choose from. The staff is very friendly (one is a fellow Chicagoan like me) and the prices definitely are the best. Anything from Penca Azul to El Tesoro, to Tequila Ocho, to Don Valente. Great selection, excellent prices.

They even offer to carry your purchases out to your vehicle. Good & rare finds are @ all their stores. The best prices in the metroplex. Okay, this company is very special to me. It was the first U.S. liquor store where I purchased my first premium tequila way back in ???? Visit the Oak Lawn location. It used to be Marty's just a few years ago. The Dallas folks know what I'm talking about.
