A ton of really good tequilas come from there. IMO, this is not one of them. It wasn't awful, but didn't live up to expectations.

Aroma: Pleasant. Agave, light oak and spice (cinnamon...which seems to be prevalent in 1414 juices)
Initial Taste: A bit of agave and citrus fruit. Nothing spectacular to note.
Body: Agave, Wood and a bit of spice. The alcohol burn overtook the flavors a bit too.
Finish: A good tequila should leave you warm. This one finished with an alcohol burn that seemed to last a while. It wasn't really pleasant and took away from the overall enjoyability for sure.

It wasn't a bad tequila and by no means am I going to throw the rest of the bottle away. The spice content along with the biting alcohol flavor might lead to a good mixing tequila after some mellowing on the rocks.

I'm not a big fan of a the screw top wine bottle look for tequilas. I like to see something that just for some reason either looks a bit more classy or "authentic." For the price, there's other tequilas that are better on the tongue and look better on the shelf too.

I dont really like reposados that much. Im a pure blanco drinker. But I got this bottle as a gift, so Im giving this repo a shot.

Aroma: Consisted of cinnamon, wood, and agave.
Initial Taste: An oily mouth feel, on the tip of tongue, its a sweet sharp cinnamon and citrusy taste.
Body: Very nice body of wod, earth, and intense agave
Finish: A slight heated alcohol burn of medium duration.

Like I said, I don't really drink reposados, but this reposado was very good, especially for a non repo drinker like me.

NOM 1414,(same as MuchOte). Tasted 4/5/08 in a Riedel glass. I ordered this from WineChateau.com and paid $42.00/750ml. This fine tequila is 100% organic and certified Kosher. 1st nose I noticed wood and nectar but mostly a cooked agave dominance and little else to distract me. Little noticable alcohol on the nose. 1st taste had no bitterness, moderate sweetness and agave heat. Well balanced in flavor and aroma from start to the finish. There is a wonderful depth and complexity of character to this tequila. Clean, crisp and straightforward. It has a medium slightly oily body and many pearls. Nice warmth on the tongue with a lingering alcohol numbness. A softness throughout and a little bit of everything makes this a very enjoyable reposado experience. I'm going back for more!
