But for someone that has been drinking tequila for years I find this is pretty far out there. Way too sweet and more like a liqueur. It makes me wonder how many additives are thrown in.

Barely any agave and wood characteristics but tons of sweet caramel and chocolate. If you like your spirits sweet you will like this. If you like real and authentic tasting tequila then move on to something else.

Keeping this for the wife and her friends.

This is a very smooth reposado. Like the others that have reviewed this tequila here, I picked up notes of toffee and nice agave flavour with little to no alcohol burn.
The bottle is beautiful.

Aroma - Sweet with sweet nose of caramel, toffee and agave.
Body - Medium. Not too light, not too heavy.
Taste - Sweet with caramel notes. Agave flavor comes through nicely.
Finish - Very smooth with little to no alcohol burn.

It's a bit expensive at $80-100 a bottle, but it's well worth it if you love to sip a good tequila. It can measure up to any tequila in any class.

A rich full aroma fills the room with caramel, butter toffee, and roasted nuts. Nice round smooth entry leads to a full body with a buttery feel and caramel vanilla taste. Slight hint of wood and dark chocolate. A very long and satisfying finish with little to no alcohol burn.

The bottle alone is a show stopper, the contents are just as good. Nice aroma, very sweet, smooth on the way down with minimal heat in the finish. I prefer my tequila's with a bit more fire, but you can not deny the attention to detail, classic good looks and super smooth body. I gave it a 94 my favorite reposado.

Maybe the best presentation in the market. Round sweetness up front followed by easy clean finish.
