A beautiful fruity nose, with some agave, a touch of caramel, and some light wood peeping from underneath. This is a great tequila going in, very lush and buttery on the tongue. Taste is cooked agave coupled with fruity notes and that touch of caramel which give this repo a very uniquely rich flavour profile. The finish immediately begins with a terrific tingling on the tongue, followed by a long extended spicy heat - a fantastic finish that lingers almost forever, but there is a bitter raw agave/fruity note to the finish that may not be to everyone's liking. That said, this is very full-bodied, very delicious reposado.
