El Señorio Reposado con Gusano Mezcal

El Señorio Reposado con Gusano is also 100% Espadín but this time it is aged in French Oak. This bottle is given a unique organic flavour through the addition of the Gusano (the worm). The Gusano has always collaborated with the spirit of the plant in its natural environment. Originally, it was given simply an ornamental value. It has since evolved to signify myths of an aphrodisiac or a means in which the plant is able to impart the spirit of the gods into man. Today, the Gusano has a much wider repertoire and it is enjoyed for its taste finding increasing fame in high cuisine.

Age: Minimum 6 months in French Oak barrels.
Color: Bright and clear yellow with shades of green and gold.
Bouquet: Sweet herbal scent yet strikingly fresh.
Body: Medium bodied clean and mellow.
Palate: Slightly bitter notes strong and earthy reminiscence of the roasted agave.
