Divino Joven Mezcal with Pear

Divino is the only Mezcal with a pear inside the bottle and is sold in 7 countries. It has a European background and was awarded the best Agave product in Russia, against all Mexican Tequilas and Mezcals in May, 2004. A truly outstanding package and smooth flavor.

Supposedly, the pear is grown inside the bottle and the cut directly from the tree when ripe, cleaned, and then filled with mezcal.

The whole idea of having a pear in the bottle is a trea, and actually looking at it is something else, the moment the bottle is opened, you are hit by the aroma of you guessed it, a pear, very fruity sweet aroma, but that is not always a good thing, initial taste is somewhat mediocre, for a moment you are confused as to what exactly you are tasting is a apple cider vinager or cooking wine, very strange, once it passes through the finish is rather smooth with a slight bitterness, that surprisingly enough, does not go away, it stays with you, i thought this product is okay, my wife and her sisters loved it, they liked that sweet quality that carried through the entire sip.Good mezcal, definietly different.
