I've been wanting to try this tequila but I can't get it where I live. The lime drop recipe I posted, came from their website.

I checked out their website and seemed to find Arizona is their main state so far - might be others but I stopped after that one. There is an online distributor from Chicago - Binny's. I could only find the Reposado - anyone know if they have a blanco or anejo?

I wonder what lead to that decision. They certainly could take some of the production and bottle it rather than age it. Was their blanco so horrible they had to age it to get something drinkable?

There are quite a few brands that start out as a Reposado, maybe more to test the waters and see how sales will be before producing the Blanco and Anejo.

Robert,

We decided to come out with Cruz Reposado Tequila first because we believe that Repos are the most well rounded. It took us 36 different batches to perfect the reposado and master its smoothness. It has taken us even longer to take all the bite out of the silver. With the silver, we have been able to eliminate all that hot/pepper tones on your pallate to make it nice and soft; almost like butter. That process takes a long time.

Our Silver will be released Sept 1st of this year and will be available in select markets (AZ, CO and TX). Check back on our website for updates; like our reposado, we may be able to ship our silver to select states. We are a very small company and are trying to grow organicaly without spending crazy money on large marketing campaigns.

Thank you for your support and interest.

Salud,
The Cruz Family
