La Fortaleza Tequila Tahona Extraction
Workers washing the Agave fibers several times after being mashed in the tahona pit to extract as much juice as possible. A laborious process, which is why most Tequila distilleries have converted to shredders and presses to extract the juice from the Agave. Old school Tequila, La Fortaleza and Los Abuelos!
