I was going to post this as well. I have my order in for 10 bottles :

2- 30-30 Anejo
2- 30-30 Reposado
2- La Certeza Anejo
2- La Certeza Reposado
2- Oro Azul Reposado

Not too bad for $203 including shipping. I wanted more, but will have to wait another month, I talked to Jayce there and he said the sale will be going on until the current stock runs out.

Just a little update. Buyer beware, I will never order from Internetwines.com again!!! I placed my order on Oct. 25 and still haven't gotten it. I've called them 3 times and kept being told it was going out the next day. On Friday I noticed that my credit card was charged so I expected to get a tracking number that night, but no, so I called them on Saturday and they said it was sent to shipping and will be going out on Monday. So I call them this evening to make sure since I still hadn't gotten a tracking number and after the operator who was ridiculously rude put me through to the shipping dept. He says to me I only have 1 bottle of the Oro Azul repo, do you still want the order or do you want to cancel. I said why after a week and a half didn't you let me know, he didn't really know or care. So I asked if he had the Oro Azul anejo and for my troubles can you give it to me at the repo price, of course he said no, but I wanted it so I'll be charged the extra 10 bucks. I can't believe that I was charged on Friday and they weren't even sure if they were going to send it, I wonder if that's even legal.

This company cannot handle internet orders and are very dishonest to say the least. Worst customer ever that I've had with an internet business. If this store was on the liquor store review section here, it would get a lousy review from me. If anyone has ordered from them I wish you luck. I don't know if it's because I used ground and my order was pushed back for the air shipments, but that is b.s. I worked in shipping for over 20 years and never would have treated an order this way regardles if was air or not, it's supposed to go by the date you place the order.

In the future I'll stick with Shoppersvineyard or Hitime. I'll pay more but their service is well worth it.

I'll let you guys know when I do finally receive this order if at all.

Dont forget to think about wineandliquordepot.com - I feel the prices are more reasonable than HiTimes and Shoppersvineyard and they ship spirits "everywhere". The shipping rates are better than shoppervineyard as well and they have a very happy and acknowledgable staff.

I would call InternetWines back and request to speak to the management about losing a good customer. I never placed an order there and was waiting for my holiday bonus (one more week) from work to consider my tequila options. Internetwines was one of them...but the prices are somewhat rediculous...even with the sale...the retail value they list is way out of proportion.

Thanks for this gsars1; as I would have probably made the same mistake in ordering with them.

http://wineandliquordepot.com/ will be the only place I ever pursue online business; with only a few other retailers even getting my attention. If you do decide another internet company to deal with; they have my reccomendation for friendly staff, best shipping rates and prices.

[PS...In Texas (I dont know about everywhere)...if you promise a product to a consumer (by means of advertising, marketing) for a certain price then it is an obligation of the retailer to supply that product; whether it is backordered or not to the consumer at the cost that was marketed or offer a full refund.] I'm not sure if this applies to your case but I learned that in Business Law this semester...of course there are always loopholes and different states have different laws but that is ridiculous...I would demand my money back if you can find a good deal elsewhere and tell them that not only did they lose your business but the business of many others. What they did may not be illegal by there state law but it is unethical.

I did ask him if it was on backorder and to just send it later and he said he's not getting anymore in and that's when he offered to cancel the order. But I knew that the price for the anejo was still better than I could get anywhere else so that's why I opted to still go ahead with the order. I don't even think that they would care if they lost my business, unfortunately a lot of companies are like that, they want you to seem like they are doing you a favor by offering you such a good price.

I have done a bit of business with them in the past year and a half but this is by far the worst one... and the last. I will check out wineandliquordepot.com, but I believe I did a while ago and their shipping was quite high for me (I'm in NY), but I'll check again. I do have some holiday shopping to do soon.

I noticed you said you have bought from HiTime...or considered it. Do they ship to New York? Because I thought I read they dont ship "spirits" out of California...they have some good deals as well.

I know it says they don't, but if you use the 2nd day shipping option, they'll do it. At least they did last December, when I placed my last order with them, I guess things could have changed. I'll be placing an order soon and let you know if they still ship to me.

I did get confirmation back from Hitimes as doing 2 day air shipping all over the country. They stated they would be more than happy to do that but cannot ship ground outside of California. Although its a bit pricier, it can be worth it if you find the right deals.
