I've been talking to carlos for awhile about some TEQUILA.net specials, so it looks like he came up with something. I'm curious if it is the new Anejo or still the "almost Anejo" Reposado.

For 46.99 you can get the Reserva Especial (9 Month) from the Ramirez site; so I'm sure thats what it is...there is no mention of an anejo when I did a search for 1921 products on there.

I just talked to Carlos and he said that this is the Anejo. I will create a new area for Carlos to post specials for Tequila.net members. Note the price is now even less...

Should be just like the Reserva Reposado according to Juan Collado of 1921. I think it was confusing for the consumer as they had the 2 reposados, so now the reserva repo becomes the reserva anejo.

Now that you answered that I have about a million questions to ask...

Is it darker?

What is the new age since the Reserva Repo was 9 Months....?

Does the current Reserva Reposado replace the Lighter Reposado and is the lighter reposado being tossed from the line? - If so, bummer that was my favorite.

Will the new anejo actually say "anejo" on the bottle?

Sorry to be so inquisitive but it will take Waco, Texas months to get rid of the old stock and I'm curious on the anejo now....my town just doesnt stay up to date.
