Bad Customer Service at Hi Time
I'm a little disappointed with Hi-Time over my last tequila order. I ordered 4 bottles from them, 2-San Matias Orgullo Anejo, 1-Don Camilo Anejo, and 1-Tonala Suprema Anejo. I received them on Wed. and they sent 2-San Matias Reserva instead of the Orgullo and the Don Camilo was cracked on the bottom and leaking. I called them and spoke with Holly and she said no problem it was there mistake and I should keep the Gran Reserva and discard the Don Camilo and that they would get the Orgullo and replacement Don Camilo out to me. This was on Wed., I asked her to email me the tracking info. So Thursday comes and no email, I call and speak with her and she apologizes and says it didn't ship and it would ship that day. So yesterday comes and still no email, so I email the shipping dept. with all the info and no response. I call and of course Holly isn't working today and they send me to the shipping dept. and he says the Orgullo is sitting there waiting for instructions from Holly and when he should issue a return authorization. I explain to him what Holly said to me and he said she really dropped the ball on this and he will take care of it. I know that they were out of the Don Camilo so I told him to just ship them together when it comes in which was supposed to be that afternoon. Now everything is supposed to ship Monday. I bought these as a Christmas present for myself and now I'll be lucky to have it before New Year's. I know places like this are very busy during the holidays but it would be nice if someone gave a crap and tried to offer some good customer service. So beware, and order all your booze at least a month ahead of time for the holidays. Ok, rant over, but I'll keep everyone posted on the outcome.
