For any of those interested, Hi Times in So Cal are selling off Don Agustin at a pretty good price. $14.99 for the blanco and $18.99 for the rep. Read the reviews and it sounds like this would be a steal. Here's the link

It's a Super Deal however, in my case, this sucks!!! I tried to order two bottles of each, but they will not ship to Nevada. They can only ship wine to Nevada, no spirits!

Actually the shipping thing is an internal policy of some sort with that web site and apparently has nothing to do with laws. In their shipping information it says:
"***Shipping Spirits in California Only at this time***" So for some reason they aren't shipping any spirits at all to anywhere other than California. That sucks, I wanted to buy a few bottles. They have Muchote as well which I've been wanting to try for a while. Damn. |

Geez guys. Just go place an order and pay no attention to what it says on the website. The only requirement at HiTimes is that you pay the outrageous 2nd Day Air charges which for 6 bottles comes to around $50 to WA state.
I just got a vertical flight of El Grado shipped from them early last month and they immediately re-shipped after UPS managed to destroy the entire shipment the first time around. If you place an order and they WON'T ship it to you or your state, they will certainly let you know. They are very good at phone contact, so be sure to leave a legit number when you order. |

The site explicitly says that they won't ship spirits out of California. I always read through the shipping terms before I order something and there's no way I'm going to place an order when the specifically state that they won't ship spirits.

Yeah I am aware of what it explicitly says on their website. I am also aware that over the last 2 years or so I have ordered at least 2 dozen different bottles of tequila from HiTimes and had it shipped to WA state and the disclaimer has been up on the website the entire time. Not once have they failed to fulfill an order. Again the only requirement is to use the 2nd day shipping method. If you don't trust anecdotal evidence, call them and place an order over the phone. |
