While the Hi Time Tequila tasting is approximately two hours away, where the quantity has been upped to 75, I did attend the event at the store yesterday.

There were plenty of pretty models, err bottles, and some good looking women, too.

Howsoever, there were a few deals to be had with one day only coupons on many tequilas.

Since there will be a blanket 15% discount on the 75 tequilas being offered today, only the El Tesoro coupons proved prudent: 18%-24% discount. I scored a bottle of ETR for $31 vs. $41 with a $10 off coupon and a bottle of the 70th Aniversario for $115 vs. $139 with a $25 off coupon. I pushed my spending cap, but I do not believe I will see the price on the Aniversario again. Paradiso was $85.

Those are some good scores. As far as the tasting / event, how was it? I've ordered quite a bit from Hi-Time, Trayce seems to know his stuff...

I tried about 25-30 tequilas and found that the $2,500 Dos Lunas superb! I will not be buying a bottle any time soon. Nonetheless, the best tequila of the event!

I got into a conversation that I thought was about ten minutes and was nearly an hour, so I pissed off my wife. OOPS! Burn me at the stake!

Great pricing with the 15% off: Casa Noble Añejo & Casa Noble Reposado were purchased, as well as the 1921 Tequila Cream for the wife.

Complete Brand lines included in the tasting were:

1921
Arette
Asom Broso, including the $1K Vintage Añejo
Cabo Wabo
Casa Noble
Cazadores
Corazon
Don Camilo
Don Fulano
Dos Lunas
El Don Plata
El Tesoro
Herencia Mex
Milagro
Partida, including Elegante
Querido
Siete Leguas
Tequila Abandonado
Tonala
Tres Manos
Voodoo

I'll add the rest later.

In my research to find a new reposado Im willing to try, I seem to be drawn to Don Fulano? Anybody try it and have an opinion?

Wow, that's some list. You people in CA. are spoiled . Those prices you listed sound great too, if I could get the Casa Noble Anejo for $60, I'd buy 2!!! Glad you liked the Dod Lunas line, I've only had the regular anejo and thought it was quite good. I don't care if the bottle looks like a shampo bottle .
