Margarita and Salsa Festival Waco, Texas

Every August we have our annual Margarita and Salsa Fest here in Waco. Every year it has gotten larger and larger and now we are having it on the HOT Fairgrounds instead of downtown. For the most part, you sample and purchase margaritas and salsa from all the chain and local restraunts around the area. There is live country music all day and ice cold beer! I was looking to see if they have posted much about it and found an article on the HOT Fairgrounds website. It seems to be current because it says tickets arent on sale for awhile. Performers as of right now include Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, Joe Nichols + more to be announced. Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Lonestar and many other bands have performed at this event before and I would estimate the crowd to be in the 3,000-5,000 range. I know yall city guys would probably enjoy this plus the majority of the proceeds go to charities! So I will keep yall updated as time goes on and maybe we can meet up and have some fun that Saturday in August.

Gates generally open about 6pm and it lasts till about 11-12.

August 23rd, 6:00pm; Gates open at 5:00pm

Headlining artists include Pat Green, Joe Nichols, and Kevin Fowler.

There will be tastings of margarita and salsa from all over the Central Texas area "chain" and "local" restaurants.

Check it out and join us for fun; I wont be able to get a VIP table unless a large group got together to split it but its a lot more fun to be out in the crowd with everyone anyways. 8,000 people attended last year and they are expecting even more this year.
