Default Jamica?

We are celebrating my mom's 80th birthday this year with the whole family going to Jamica for a week and already I am worring about withdrawl symptoms if I go without tequila for that long.

Does anyone know if there is any tequila bars in Jamica? We are going to be staying at an all-inclusive resort - mainly for the grandkids, but it would be nice to find where I could get some tequila if they don't happen to stock anything decent.

I am also open to rum suggestions, but not as my first choice of course.

Robert

Good luck finding anything more than Sauza and JC. You might want to throw a bottle of your favorite in your suit case.

I ended up going the way of the Rum while in Jamaica and their are many to choose from.

Default Appleton Estate

I posted this earlier but I cannot find my post....

Appleton Estate makes a wonderful 21 year jamaican rum. They also have a bottle I've been looking for that is a 30 Year Rum but it is top dollar. Check them out while your in Jamaica...heck, you can probably head over to the distillery and get a first hand experience of how Rum is made.

I think the suitcase is a "must do" and keep my fingers crossed. I hope I don't go into tequila withdrawal missing a week or so.

I will definitely have to check out some rums and will keep my eyes open for Appleton Estate.

Thanks.

Robert
