Malo - Medicina Latina

Any of you that frequent Malo try this cocktail yet? Sounds pretty good.

We were finally able to try out the Medicina Latina ($13) at Malo's during the LAist foodie meetup earlier this week and it is awesome. Made with 4 Copas Reposado, fresh ginger juice, agave and lime with a Del Maguey Mezcal Mist, it certainly has a kick. It's that ginger juice that makes it an unusual tequila cocktail. But unfortunately since it's so drinkable, we were done with it before we knew it.

I have been know to venture out to Malo once and a while.

Since I work in LA right now, I visit Malo's at least once every two weeks. This is hands down one of the best Margaritas I have ever had. IN fact, I would recommend a Margarita Night at Malo's. They have a number of great margaritas and other tequila based drinks. The think I love most about is that they DON'T carry Patron

I usually go neat, but I do think Malo has some damn good margaritas. Mateo made me a watermelon one once and it great. I mean GREAT!

I think I hit Malo about once every two weeks, its walking distance from my apartment so I can stumble home if need be.

It is definitely a great marg. I had about three different margs and all of them were excellent.
