Tequila tasting in Puerto Vallarta

I will be in Puerto Vallarta here in April for my wedding and my friends and family want me to take them out tequila tasting. The last time we were in PV I brought back some good bottles and shared them with everyone and they really want to experience the whole gambit. I saw one thread below that mentioned this place http://www.frommers.com/destinations...ta/S28080.html was this place any good? I want to take them to a place where they can experience the differnt types of tequila and brands. The only tasting I ever did was at Santo Tequila there in PV, but I am not sure if that is a tourist trap or what? We signed up for it when we were on a cruise. I am not sure if any of us will have the time or money to fly our to Tequila so if anyone has been to some good places in PV I would appreciate the insight. thanks!

I was just in PV two weeks ago and visited La Casa del Tequila/Agave Grill. It was the best food we had while there! They offered tequila tastings on the menu, but if you are looking to buy tequila they are willing to let you do some tastings for free. The waiter/shopkeeper was very helpful in selecting tequilas based on your likes. I highly recommend stopping there!

On a secondary note, beware of some of the tequila "factory stores" you find walking around town. They will provide you a lot of samples for tasting, but be ready for the hardcore timeshare/excursion sales pitch!

On another note, the prices at La Casa were reasonable, but I found some of the same tequila at the Duty Free store at the airport cheaper.
