I have not been and the when I was complying my list of all known tequila bars there was no website. However, I just searched it again and now they have one. Here is the address: http://www.salpicon.com/

I looked at the website and they have very good prices and some ultra-premium bottles that I have not even seen in person before. By the looks of ebay, I am assuming there are a lot of rare bottles in the Chicago area.

I have been to Salpicon many times.. when I lived on N Lasalle in late 90s. I loved the joint & that is where I started to get hooked on great tequilas. My fav was Jose Cuervo Reserva de Familia.

I keep trying to go back, but everytime I get up there I cant seem to get the time to go.

Ok, I have been there, but I don't remember any ultra-premium bottles that you don't normally see.

I used to live in Chicago... I miss it soo!!!!!!
Salpicon is DA BOMB. Food is awesome, so is the tequila, but the prices r steep, keep in mind.

There is also Abobe grill on Wells, and Salud Tequila bar on Milwaukee in Wicker Park.
