I'm looking for ideas for a good blender margarita recipe, both regular and strawberry. I don't really make them but my mother in law likes them so, if I'm going to make them for her, I'd like to make the best ones that I can.
I've looked at recipes online and no two are the same. Rather than spending the next few weeks (I have to pace myself after all) trying every recipe, I'm hoping to get some advice. I'm also wondering about the sweetener. In the book Liquid Intelligence, Dave Arnold mentions that using simple syrup in a blended drink could result in too much dilution because of the extra water. His solution is to sugar the booze. Is this really a concern? And how about using agave nectar vs sugar or simple syrup?
