Buyers Beware!!!! Fake Cofradia & Cava de Oro on Ebay

Have you seen the Fake cofradia Anejo & cava de oro bottles for sell on ebay by Chaptini "Rcollectibles" all of them are 100% fake they're "Licoreras" and he made them bottles and see the fake labels he made. I now they are fake because i have been in tijuana many times at the famous "Ave Revolucion" where they sell all kinds of crap to tourist and i seen all of the Licoreras there for sell. Especialy the licorera Cava de Oro bottles 100% fake have contacted the company and they have nothing to do with this design. What a ripoff he has sold them for more tham $100.00 and the Cava de oro close to $300.00 each bottle and they cost no more than $30.00 i think some people will need to ask for their refound.

you might be right, looking at the cava de oro label, artesanal is spelled in english maybe this means something maybe not. Just curious did you buy something from him?

I emailed a friend that works for CN (Cofradia) and we will find out 100% if they have ever used these bottles.

Its 50/50 right now waiting on final work from one of the distillery owners right now.
They did say they have done allot of special bottlings in the past. post it as soon as I know.

I have seen MANY "unusual looking" bottles at La Cofradia Store (including the Whale Tails!) and I dont think ever seeing those, although the "nopales" Licorera looks strangely familiar but NOT from around here. I haven't been able to reach Carlos directly, but 2 of his workers dont ever recall seeing those bottles.

Did anyone find out if this is true or not? I have bought a number of items from him. What did the bottles or labes look like? Were they the new ceramic ones he started listing a few months back that came with small cups or the handcrafted one of a kind bottles made with Lava Rocks and real crazy designs from Cava de Oro?

Only the ones that where from La Cofradia with the cups etc. where confirmed as fakes by the distillery owner....

I don't know if the seller himself knew they where fakes though.?

I have a very nice tequila collection that I bought from this seller, and I know the Cava De Oro bottles are not fake because I bought some myself in a tequila Expo, from the official Cava De Oro booth. How an official Expo in Mexico put fake bottles
It's a shame to assume things about people. I've dealt many times with this seller, he's a very good and honest one, unlike many on ebay.
