Thank you for your reply. I think I will go ahead and put good faith in the $700 estimate, mainly because I got an e-mail from someone that saw this thread, saying that if I am willing to sell he is interested and would be willing to pay more than $700.

But I am currently not interested in selling.

Let me suggest something:

post your bottle on Ebay... with a ridiculous amount as a reserve... say $2000 (or more), and see how the bidding goes... since you're not willing to sell (I bet otherwise) you will at least know how much "someone" is willing to pay :-)

I paid 600.00 for an original not the re-issue. / the 1.75 ltr. / I don't know if they produced the 2.5 until the re-issue, does the box have a slider or hinge lid?.

I know it is the original. It is the 1.75, hinged lid, NOM 1104. Probably just going to sell it on ebay.
