Jose Cuervo 250 Aniversario

Anyone come across one of the 496 limited edition bottles of Jose Cuervo 250?

This Limited edition, represents the 250 year anniversary where, King Carlos IV granted Don Jose Antonio de Cuervo a parcel of land in Tequila Mexico, for the purpose of growing Agave, which were then distilled to make vino de mezcal now know as Tequila.

This tequila is described with aromas and flavors of sweet vanilla, baked apple, and bananas and is to have a long tobacco finish. Each bottle is $2,250

The description doesn't really sound like tequila and I would love to hear if someone has been fortunate enough to try some.

Nice bottle. If anyone's interested (and has money to burn), bevmo has it listed on their website at a tag of $1959.99. Drink 'em if you got it!

Just want to let you know how it tasted..... very very smooth no bite one of the best I have tasted... is it worth the $$$ probably not but I did get 2 bottles one to share with friends the other to save for my collection of rare bottles. It rest next to a rare bottle of Clase Azul Ultra which only 50 bottles made it to the states.... Can't wait to open that one....

Which release are you speaking of? Can you post a picture of your bottle and decanter

I'll post pic's soon... the bottle reads Bottle No. 046 / 100. The web and
Liquor Store which I use all the time confirmed. Only 50 bottle were given to
certain Stores in the States. What's not True? The bottle is Black with a Platium Medallin on the front....

It was set up to be 100 bottles per release not total. 50 bottles made it to the states the first time to be sold. There was also a lot of juice for events and what not as well. Definitely not limited to 50 bottles total. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
