Default Tequila Numero1 / Uno

I got this from a family member and was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it?

Thanks,

Mick

I don't think it's that old, in fact, I think I can see a CRT on it. The DNG ended sometime in the late 70's at which point they started using NOM-I designation. Sometime in the early 90's the NOM-I was lost and they just started using NOM numbers. So unless it's a bottle from the 70's, it should have a NOM on it.

Just to add to that, I would say that most stopped using the "I" designation in the early-to-mid 90's but I have bottles with the "I" designation that have date stamps from late 1999. Have not seen any from 2000 yet tho.

Here is another pic. No NOM that I can see. The bottom does have 62 on it so that could be the year?

Thanks for the help!

Is there a label on the back of the bottle? Would like to see a pic of that as well.

There are a few other listings on Don Rafael's site of Tequila Numero Uno... maybe that will help.

Thanks for all the info! I talked with family over the weekend and they said that it was purchased in Mexico between 1965 and 1969.
