Default Tried Sotol for the first time

It was last night. I was able to get a bottle of HDC blanco from Shopper's Vineyard some time ago. It was really neat. I liked it. I would like to try others (a quick search shows 10 listings on Tequila.net, but no where else) but can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. Anyone know where to buy other brands?

Thanks.

I am here to to tell you that the HdC reposado and anejo are amazing! The blanco is terrific, but the rep and the anejo are gifts from chihuahua!!

I want to try other sotols, too! Let me know if you find sources for other lines. So far, I have no other leads.

Try hitimewine.net, I believe they have the whole lineup.

yep, hi-time has the whole line. Great price, too, imho. I got them from Seth at Shopper's Vineyard. While they do not currently carry the rep, I got one somehow. He is working on getting the reposado regularly, shouldn't be long.

I sipped some of the anejo last night. I really think it's wonderful.

They don't ship to PA.

Also, are there other places that sell other brands that ship?

I tried HDC Anejo for the first time last night. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My immediate impression on first taste was "This is similar to tequila", but by the time I fnished swallowing the sip it was apparent that this is a very different product.
It was earthy and smooth with no burn.
I can't say I prefer it to tequila, but I'm definitely open to trying more

Jason! So glad you enjoyed the sotol anejo! I, too, really enjoyed the anejo and I keep the entire HdC lineup in my collection. I am partial to anejos most of the time, but I feel that the HdC reposado really shines. I hope you can try it soon. I'd like to know what you think about it. It is my favorite of their line.

I am looking forward to trying some other sotol, as well... Haven't found a source yet for the Don Cuco sotol, but I will eventually.

Groovin',
Garret
