Default What does Single Barrel mean?

My shipment from Red Carpet Wine came in today with no problems. But now I'm confused. I got a bottle of Tres Manos Anejo and it says its a single barrel, aged 3 years but it says it is a blend of 3years of American Oak, Imported white Oak and used Oak Bourbon barrels? I thought Single Barrel meant it was not blended? Help?

Sounds like they are trying to use it as a marketing term when it shouldn't be. Single barrel in my books is from a single barrel...... not three different ones!

Nice

True that! No blends allowed in "Single Barrel" products.

Did you see that on the neck card or a web site? I checked my listing and the description is all about the blend.

Almost feels like they are trying to say that they blended 3 single barrel products.
