Default Gran Centenario

$40 out the door at Liquor Mart.

Haven't cracked it just yet, what to expect?

How do I get over the 'Cuervo face' I'll expect?

So yeah, is it any good?

I used to use the blanco and repo in margaritas years ago when you could find them for low 20's on sale, but since the price hike, not so much...

Well I got the repo, I thought I made a bad choice at first smell, it has an almost antiseptic scent so I was expecting the same from the flavor. I'd have to say I was pleasantly surprised, although there was a slight burn on the finish it seems pretty palatable. One caballito so far, going to have another after dinner, I'll let you know.

I've had both the repo and anejo. The repo was a little harsh but the anejo was very good, I believe I put a review in awhile back. My local liquor store used to have the anejo for $40 but the price has gone up to $50 .

In my opinion the anejo is a good buy for the money, especially if you can get it for around $40. I try to have some on hand for parties when I want to introduce people to tequila - it is nice but not pricy.

Same here, I think Gran Centenario Anejo is a good buy. It's not hte best buy, but a good one. The reposado does have a slight burn but then agian I kind of expect that from the Cuervos....
