Default Tequila glasses

I did a search and was interested to see no discussions on glasses. I liked good tequila until I got a set of real Reidel tequila glasses. I had no idea how much difference the right glass made! Everyone who has tried them with us is shocked how much difference it makes. Now I drink nothing else but Anejos (except at a game or other situations where good twequila is not available).

So if you don't have a set of tequila glasses, you don't know what you're missing.

PS, Just put a little in the bottom, you won't last long if you fill 'em.

I've been wanting to get the 'real' glasses for a while now. I think it is time, where did you get yours?

They were a present, but I understand they were bought on Ebay (about $40 for 4 glasses). You gotta remember I'm stuck out in the middle of the Pacific and things are not as available as on the mainland. Thank goodness for Tamura's fine wine and spirits, the best best place to buy your exotic spirits on Oahu. Otherwise good Anejos are hard to find and expensive (not that Tamura's is cheap, just better than the rest here).

Aloha, Rick

I'd have to agree, once you use one you can't go back. Best to put one in your backpack so you're always prepared.

I got mine on amazon, roughly $30 including shipping for 4.

I normally use a brandy snifter and take out the Riedel only in special locations, but I do agree it makes a difference with the Riedel they are great!

This glass is the only way to go. One of the best things to happen to tequila. I only wish more bars would use them. So far the only bar that exlusively uses them that I have seen is La Pinata. Tommy's also has them but mostly just brings them out for the highend tequilas.

Trece Restaraunt in Dallas uses them for the high end tequilas as well, and i just talked to the manager, they will be getting the new Clase Azul Ultra next week.,, and yes the drink will be very expensive, 250.00 a glass

Target or Super Target...I found some on sale for like 10 bucks. But they dont have them on the big Riedel sign anymore, did they discontinue tequila glasses by Riedel?
