Default cabo wabo bottles

I know this is a late reply, but in addition to the bottles you listed in your pics, there is also a 2nd generation version that has the letters "C W" embossed (raised melted glass) just below the neck. This is more rare than the standard 2nd generation bottle. Also, if you actually like to drink tequila, get an extra bottle or two of the old stuff... the Cabo Wabo that came after the 2nd generation is (in my opinion) nowhere near as good as the earlier incarnations. This is due to a widespread Agave blight during the late 1990's that killed off a large portion of the Agave population. An Agave plant takes up to 10 years to mature, so many immature plants were used to meet demand, and also breeding stock was diluted with less than stellar plants in some cases. The 3rd generation offering was a much harsher variation of this tequila, and nowhere as smooth or flavorful (again, my opinion, but I've enjoyed several bottles of the 2nd generation, and am presently sitting on a matched case of six)

How about this bottle of anejo? It's from NOM 1467 Impulsora Rombo, and priced at $68.

I do have a bottle of that myself, but I'm not sure how good it is. 3rd gen, and a different NOM than the 2nd gen repo and blanco I have (1426). Milenio is the anejo that goes with the 2nd gen stuff, although I believe it's the first anejo from CW.

I'd take a pass on that juice Jody...especially at that price point! While it's not exactly horrible, it doesn't hold a candle to Sammy's 1st or 2nd generation bottles. It is totally different juice!

OBTW...different NOM's as well. The 1st & 2nd gen. bottles were from 1426.

Thanks for the replies. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have drank it myself, but maybe used it as a trading bottle for anyone who REALLY wanted it.

Regarding 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation, etc., I found this website which led me to believe this was 2nd gen.
Cabo Wabo Tequila

They don't really call it 2nd generation, but being on the 2nd row (from the bottom), I thought it would be.

Interesting, the Milenio bottle on tequilasource is a different NOM than my bottle. The one shown on that site is from 1467, whereas mine is from 1426. Also the labeling is slightly altered; the 1467 bottle doesn't have the words Terra Firme above the logo. I never noticed that before today.
