Both bottle styles from Don Valente contain exceptional Tequila. What I was told at the distillery was that the Tequila in the licorera bottles (genie) may be aged just a tad longer for the repo and the anejo. I like the fact that they offer both, so you have a choice whether or not you want to spend the extra and have a unique bottle.
Try their mixto sometime and see what you think, Tiquilito UF is 70% agave instead of the 51% most mixtos are. |

Rob, told me that the licorera bottle was made specifically for that purpose, aged a little longer, and bottled only when it is ordered, so there really aren't any bottles stored somewhere, they are made as they are ordered, thus the higher price tag, but both the artesenal and licoreria bottles are really awesome tequilas....
