Has anybody ever tried Cuervo 1800 Mileno?

I saw this on internetwines.com and it looks as though they are the only place that sells it. If anyone has tried it,...how was it? Is it worth the price? I'm curious because 1800 Reposado was one of the first tequilas that I tried and this Mileno sounds interesting. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is great and at $75 a bottle it is a steal. Hi-time, mission liquor, ramierez, etc. all sell it as well.

Thanks, TJ, I didn't even notice it at Hi-time. I was going to be placing an order with them soon for myself anyway and I think I'll add this one to the list. It's a couple of bucks more than internet wines but the shipping will be cheaper. I don't know what's going on with internet wines but over the last month their tequila prices have at least tripled. I can't believe that they want almost $80 for La Certeza Anejo, when last month I bought it from them for under $20. Oh well it's their loss, I'll be buying from shoppersvineyard and hi-time instead.

My wife and I had our first chance to try this wonderful tequila last year at the Las Casuelas Terraza restaurant in Palm Springs. They have one of the 288 barrels that were produced in their wine cellar. It is definitely among our top five tequilas. I would compare it to the Reserva de la Familia, except it has a slight coconut-almond nose to it. After going through 4 bottles last year, I purchased 3 more and have put 2 of them away for the future. If you like this tequila I would recommend stockpiling some, as it was released around 1999 and only 288 barrels were produced.

yup, just tried some this past weekend, pretty good, has a great body, full of flavor. I bought a bottle two years ago, and this has been sitting on a shelf ever since, just didn't want to pop it open, i was a hole in the wall restaurant in Austin, Texas, great food by the way, and the manager treated me to a taste of this, it was awesome,
