I have updated the database from the CRT's Excel file dated August 27th. I also added the extra information showing who the brand is titled to if not the distillery it is produced in. This new information shows in blue under the distillery name if applicable.

I'm thinking this doesn't (yet) include Mezcals?

No, I'm not sure if Comercam publishes a NOM type list. Will have to do some research...

I get amazed everytime I get on this website. Mr. A, you have done wonders for my tequila world. If this site wasnt around I'd be lost, and now I feel addicted to the information and reviews you provide. Thanks!

As for the distillery's....does anyone know of the nearest to the Tex/Mex border? I know the tequila region is much farther south but I still dont know my navigation at all through Mexico. Or has anyone heard of some good Tequila stores or spirit shops near the border with good prices? I think Matamores(sp?) is closest to me and the most populated area.

Tequilera la Gonzaleña is closest to the texas border, and you could have fun in Chihuahua at some of the Sotol distilleries as well.

There is a winery where I live called Crown Valley Winery, they are huge, have a bison farm, elk farm, tigers, lions etc, B&B, restaurant, they just started a Microbrewery, and was also told they are looking into Burbon as well as Tequila. How can they do Tequila in southeast Missouri? We have a big wine route where I live, Just wish it was big Tequila route also.

They can't. To be tequila it has to come from specific areas in Mexico. They could however make an "Agave Spirit"
