    Default Your Mexican top three

Here in Canada, we are slowly expanding our tequila selections at the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario). The LCBO (or LICK-BO as I like to call it) has brought in some nice tequilas such as Espolon DOTD label but it is 42.95 for the repo when I can get it in Niagara Falls for 21.95, and I can get it in Mexico for about 11 US at Walmart.

I still prefer the obscure and/or Mexico-only stuff. Some favourites are Las Tres Tonos Anejo, Afamado Anejo, and any version on El Gran Jubileo.

Next time I am hoping to pick up Fortaleza (Los Abuelos), Tapatio, Pechoca, Corrido and La Pinta. I know some of those are available in the US but I have not found them in Northern NY state.

What would your top three choices be?

Mine would be the following, in no particular order:
    Reserva de Los Gonzalez
    Don Abraham
    Mexicanisimo

I don't have a whole lot of exposure to Mexican-only juice, but two that I have had and like are:

    D'Antaño XA
    El Caballito Cerrero blanco

My mexico only collection, is more than three. I would say more like 20. but my favorite three I would say are 1) Los Abuelos 2) D' Antano 3) Fina Estampa.
I would like to try out the three that Sipper is mentioning, as his favorites. I know for shure that Don Blas at El Mercado, has those tequilas in stock. (El Mercado del Mar is located in Popotla Baja ca.)

Is Los Abuelos 38%? I would think that might be the only difference between it and Fortaleza. We can actually get Fina Estampa here in the states unless you're saying there is a difference in a MX-only verison.

I'm pretty sure these are still Mexico only:

    Casa Cofradia Cristal Anejo
Casa Cofradia Special Reserve Anejo (black ceramic pyramid shaped bottle) - I actually just found this one online from a US source, so I guess it is available in the US
    Maracame Anejo

    Honorable mentions got to:
    El Gran Jubileo 5 Year
    Rey de Copas Reposado
    El Gran Vieji Extra Anejo

Fortaleza and Los Abuelos are the same, other than the name. Fina Estampa was available here in the US but its too bad they went out of business. I did forget to add the D' Antano to my list.

Hm, I somehow missed the Mexico only part. Well, in that case, I'd have to say El Secreto Anejo, Cava Antigua Anejo, and...
