Default good find or just ooold bottle?

i was browsing around a local liquor store and found this bottle of Chinaco Reposado. All i've seen were the teardrop bottles, never have i seen this before. So I bought it. Is it just the old bottle shape? Or did I stumble across something special? (if pics dont work, lemme know, and i'll try something different)

Its a worthwhile find, what id you pay for it?

It the older bottling before the tear drop bottles.

I have not tried this Repo yet but all of the other bottles in this style are amazing. I got my Repo for $50 and am on the look out for another.

yes, it was $31.99 (plus tax). which i think is funny, because they also had the teardrop bottles and they were around $45-50. i guess i'm gonna have to swing by there again and pick up the remaining bottles.

yeah, there were prolly like 6 of them or so. no blanco nor anejos. i had a few minutes to kill before work, and thats why i stopped in. i gotta go when i have more time, because i saw alot of bottles i've never seen before. i dont recall names or anything. i'll get more names and stuff next time i go and let you guys know, perhaps there's a treasure in there.

don't you love it when you run into bottles like that,, last weekend i ran into a liquor store in what was probably the roughest area in Dallas, i found two Chinaco; blanco, and Repo, and two bottles of Los Azulejos which i've never even seen for sale anywhere in Dallas, they were all in the mid-high 30's so naturally i jumped on them, i was getting strange looks from alot of people who saw purchase all the bottles, but i tried to ignore them and run back into my car before i can get mugged.
