Default Old Bracero repo

I found an old bottle of Bracero, NOM 1360, and I'm wondering if anyone's tasted this. I left it but may pick it up later, since it's only $29 so it's not a budget buster. At the same store I also saw a Purasangre repo, Agave Series bottle, and a Berrueco repo (single barrel). Any opinions about those would also be appreciated!

I would skip the first two... The Berrueco is very, very good, but it tends to be expensive. YMMV.

Thanks, I think I'll leave them all for someone else to enjoy. And you're right about the Berrueco, I think it was about $90-$100. Too rich from my taste.

Damn- the ones I purchased were close outs and cost me $45 or so... in as much as they're good, they are NOT worth that much [~$95]. Too bad some of those independent stores do not realize that those prices will only keep them on their shelves.

Thumbs up Tequila braceros

Tequila braceros anejo was the first tequila that started me off in this hobby of discovering & tasting tequilas.drinking & collecting tequila, for me has been an awsome "pasa tiempo" Braceros for me was a good beginners tequila! I have learned to appreciate & develop my taste buds to a higher level. now that I am at my 50th brand. I think Braceros tequila is a good starting point towards developing a taste for good tequila!

Yesterday I found more of this "old" Bracero, including a 200 ml bottle. I think I'll buy it and find out exactly what it tastes like.

On a side note, I also found a bottle of Herradura anejo, with a label date of April 03 (I can't read the day). If I take Herradura at their word, that the anejo is aged 2 yrs, this should be a pre-diffuser vintage. Is there any way of verifying this, and if there is, is the juice good enough to warrant the purchase?
