Any suggestions on type and where to find the proper glasses for sipping tequila.

Reidel makes the "official tequila glass". you can find them online for about $30-$40 for a set of 4 (depending on the site). i cant seem to find them at an actual store. so online is the choice for me.

Reidel is the only way to go. Beverages and More has them if you have one near you. Otherwise, you can get them at Hi-Time and Ebay.

Tried out the Reidel Tequila glasses over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the added aroma that you get from the glass and the visual of the residue of the tequila on the sides of the glass. Thanks to everyone for the recommendation. I still don't mind drinking from plastic cup either.

yeah those riedels make all the difference, you know i had an informal tasting with Jose "pepe" Hermosillo from Casa Noble, and he was telling me that he participated in choosing the design of the reidel "tequila" glass, pretty cool, he also stated that , the glass chosen wasn't his first choice, he mentioned to me which one he preferred, so i went out this past weekend and purchased some, and i could see why he chose the design, it makes just subtle difference, not to mention the the glass looks pretty cool, the glass is a reidel "sommeliers" series designed for cognac v.s.o.p design 1989, way cool.

Thanks for the insight on the glasses. I think I will pick up a few of the "sommeliers" I can see myself breaking a few of the "tequila" glasses over time.
