Unfortunately I doubt we could make it over to PDC since we'll be on a cruise stop at Cozumel. The time goes by quick and we're only at port until 4:00 (7A-4P). The ferry ride there and back would take time, and I don't know how the SO would handle it. I hear it's a fairly long, rough ride and she gets sick on the cruise ship without seabands on. We were going to go to some beach in Cozumel that's really cheap. $2 for a beach chair and the only admission price is they require you to buy $10 in food (a steal since other beaches are $10 and up just for admission). Does PDC by chance have anything like that?

That's neat though that they ferry takes you right to downtown PDC. The only thing about Cozumel is downtown isn't near the port, and they'll charge $10 in taxis for any ride, so $10 to beach, $10 to downtown , then $10 back to port.

Apologies, I did not realize it was a cruise ship stop, I thought you were there for a week. I am sure that there are some Cozumel tequila shops, and hey, expensive tequila options are better than NO tequila options! Let us know what you got and what you paid! I love info like that!

I just don't want to end up paying more for something than I could get it here. As I proved to myself by your picture, the 1921 is cheaper here than there in Cabo (I guess that's where your picture was). Even if it's close in price, but more there, I would rather buy it here, rather than drag it home. So I'm only after deals, or something I can't get here. I'm not a $100-a-bottle guy though. Anything good tastes a bit too similar to me to spend that much.

I checked out one of the Tequila Town's in Cabo. Lots of cool old bottles above the Tequila that is for sale. Unfortunately they aren't willing to part with any of the old stuff.

I did find a bottle of Los Abuelos Reposado, Lot 2 for 40 bucks. That was our sipper for the week. Score! Still looking for the receipt, this guy had some different bottles than the norm of what is available in all of the tourist stores. That was the bonus after the side street taco truck lunch.

Lots of places to get better deals, 2 La Europea's, Chedraui Market, and Costco. Prices were high in the tourist areas and duty free. Many Clase Azul Ultra bottles, and in little liquor stores where you wouldn't expect to find it. Clase Azul Plata is now in clear bottle with no white markings / design. Looks naked.

I did see the Revolucion XA at duty free, bright orange and only $110.

just to expand on the higher prices in tourist areas, I live in Mexico most of the year. The Arette blanco bottle in the first pic for 405 pesos sells locally here at La Europa for just under 200 pesos. Still looks like a nice place to see a wide variety though.

Congrats on the Los Abuelos, I was looking everywhere for it and could not find it. A friend of mine has gone to MX and I sent her down with a list (Los Abuelos/Tapatio/Los Tres Tonos/Aha Toro) and 1500 pesos. She does not drink and was happy to do this. Tip for asking friends to shop for you in MX: go to Google Images and print pictures of the bottles - that way they can just point at it in the tequila shop if they are shy about pronouncing Spanish.

Found my receipts. The place I found Los Abuelos in Cabo is called "Los Cabos Tequilas Tequila", Blvd. Marina SN L 9.

Enter this in google maps and you'll see the estimated location. It is back behind the big mercado, google map looks a couple years behind as there is lots of new construction back there.
