Here's what Santa (me) brought for Christmas:
Chamucos Blanco 750 $29.00 US Centinela Reposado 1 litre @$30.00 US El Tesoro de Don Felipe Anejo 750 $52.00 US Antiguo de Herraduro Reposado 375 95 MX La Cofradia Anejo 375 @$16.00 US Peligroso Reposado 375 @$23.00 US Los Azulejos Reposado 375 200.50 MX Tequila 30-30 Reposado Reserva Especial 375 $16.00 US Oro y Plata Reposado 250 $16.00 US Con Alma de Mujer Blanco 250 $16.00 US Con Alma de Mujer Reposado 250 $16.00 US Arette Blanco 250 $8.00 Us Peligroso Anejo 50 ml $9.00 US Peligroso Blanco 50 ml $8.00 US Porfidio Anejo 50 ml $20.00 US Herradura Reposado 50 Some prices are exact, some are guesstimates/poor recall as not every store gave receipts, or a certain drunken shopper misplaced the receipts. Biggest purchases were made at La Europea, one at the Marina and one at the Walmart mall. I noted that La Pinta Pomegranate and Centinela have new packaging, and photos will follow. Great selection of tequila as well at Tequila Town (I am a fan of the TT in Playa del Carmen as well), and Pablo is very knowledgeable; better than his knowledge, however, is his willingness to pour samples. Had a shot of 12 yr Herencia Historico that was nectar of the gods, at 200 USD a bottle. TT is located on the Marina, just down the little alley of shops from Senor Frog's, if you are ever in Cabo. I've got lots of pics to post once I get my act together. Walmart had some pretty good prices if you are looking for basic tequilas for mix. I went to Tequila's House in San Jose del Cabo, as apparently the owner is unbelievably knowledgeable, but that day the owner was not there and the employee was not too interested in selling. However, did get my new friend from California hooked on Clase Azul, so all was not lost! Last edited by sipper; December 28th, 2011 at 06:45 PM. |

This is my hoard of tequila from a week in Cabo - lots of 375s so I could maximize varieties. Last edited by sipper; December 28th, 2011 at 07:06 PM. |

On the far left is the new Clase Azul Platino bottle. I like the old one better. As long as the juice is the same, it's all good, I guess. This is from the Duty Free at the Cabo airport.
