I live in Minnesota, so the vast majority of stores only have 30-40 different bottles of tequila. So I do most of my ordering online. When I see a really good price for something, I often buy a 2nd bottle. Or when I'm making an order, I will generally have it be at least 6 bottles to spread out the shipping costs. So I often end up with 2 bottles of my favorite. I can also use those 2nd bottles as gifts if I have a friend that likes tequila in a pinch or bring it to a get together to share as well.

It's best to be prepared, right?

Yeah i think online ordering is the way to go if you can get a better deal or can't find what your after locally. Still 30-40 different bottles of tequila is impressive if it's from just one store, compared to what i'm used to seeing here. Even back home in Australia you don't see that much variety in the biggest bottle shop. But i think you can never have to many bottles

30-40 bottles means 10-15 brands. I guess that just seems paltry compared to the 500+ items on hi time and 600+ on zee tequila. I still buy locally, but the selection most places is roughly the same (Patron, Cuervo, Avion, Jimador, Sauza, some crappy mixtos...and maybe a few other brands that will vary by store).
