Cool 7 leguas DANTANO

I was in baja this weekend & I stopped @ a tequila house, there is a bottle
of 7 leguas DANTANO I would like to know from any of you guys have tasted
this juice? I tasted the 7 leguas anejo, It was pretty good stuff to me.but the ANTANO I never had the chance to taste it. Is it any good? is it worth collecting? the bottle is over $100
I would appreciate any replies regarding this tequila! Thanks

I thought the D'Antano basically tasted like the Siete Leguas anejo with a little more wood.
If that is worth $100, go for it. But I dont think so

Jasonrm72, have you done a side x side with those 2?? Just curious to know if you have, I recently did a side x side with a 7LA and D'Antano and IMHO, I thought that the D'Antano had more Agave flavor (I thought it was cuase of the lower Alc. of 38%) and it was more complex, don't get me worng, I really digged the Anejo, but just like 45 said, I think the D'Antano is totally worth the "C" note

not a side-by-side, but I did just try D'Antano again on my last trip to Cancun and my thoughts were exactly the same as it was the first time around. I have the Siete Leguas Anejo at home, so I'm fairly familiar with it. I just don't feel there is enough of a difference between the two to justify the $50 price difference. As always, to each their own

I hear you, that's the beauty of Agave Spirits. That's how it is...everybody has different "taste buds" and what I like might not flow you boat at all... Salud

A hundy is a great price for this juice. I'd give it in a heartbeat. Truly one of the greats!

Many times at resorts or bars unless they break the seal in front of you it is hard to know if it has been refilled with anything other than its original contents. Another thing is if you are ordering from the tequila menu at your table and the waiter goes to bring your drink he may just pour what he thinks is De Antano and may have just poured regular anejo.

There are many tequilas out there at $100.00+ but many of them are not worth it, but of those that are worth the $100.00+ price tag, 7 Leguas de Antano is definately one of them.

While I have not tried S.L. Anejo, I have a few bottles {off of Ebay} of D'Antano. I love it. What a great sipper. When ever I can I pick up a bottle of it. I feel that the taste is worth it.
