Default Fortaleza Blanco getting worse

I don't know about the rest of you but my friends and I think lote 10 and 11 have a sour, unpleasant taste. It's not the mineral, creamy agave taste of past lotes. Not liking the direction it's going. Anyone else notice?

I have not tried Lots 10 and 11, BUT I have tried Lot 12 (blanco)... and it seemed tasty... granted, I am a HUGE fan of its reposado ( I have tried Lots 4-11 and love them all).

It is worth mentioning that ONE of the many things what distinguishes Fortaleza from many of the other brands, is that they do not try to make it taste uniformly (that is, taste as the previous lot) by adding the 1% allowed by the CRT (be it color, caramel, flavor additives and what not)... YMMV.

Salud!

Mmmmmm...although I have not yet sampled anything from Lots 10 and 11, based on everything I ever had from the previous lots, I find it very hard to believe that they would be anything less than stellar! I am sure that not every batch can be perfect however, IMHO they would likely still have to blow away most other brands. I tasted the Lot 12 repo in Puerto Nuevo and it was OUTSTANDING! I also asked Guillermo to sign a bottle which he so graciously did!

as a recent purchaser of a Lot 11 Blanco, I think it's damn good juice. Unfortunately I have no bearing to which other Lots taste like, so y'all are going to have to send me yours
