HSS seems to be vastly overpriced. I saw it in a duty free shop in the Mexico City airport for ~$160.

I picked up 2 bottles of Clase Azul Repo for $58 a piece at a liquor store in Playa Del Carmin this summer. I also found good selections and prices in the big grocery stores. As for Cozumel, check out the Tequila Locations part of the forum under Cozumel for some good info. You might think about printing out a Tequila Brand, NOM, and Distillery list to take with you. My spanish is not good and it sure helped me cut through the translation gap. Happy hunting!!

Well I just got back and I'm rather happy with what I picked up. After suggestions from a few people I did get the Clase Azul ($70 for 750ml,) 1921 Blanco ($30,) and Campo Azul Anejo ($55.) Hopefully I didn't get ripped off too bad but it's still worth it simply because I don't have access to these on a regular basis. If anyone has tried the campo azul anejo please let me know how you think it stacks up to others, I couldn't find any reviews.

I tried so hard to get the 4 liter Clase Azul bottle in Playa this summer. They just wouldn't let one go. Some of the restaurants and bars had them on display, but they are empty, plus they would only sell the empty bottle for $400 +. I'll come home with one hopefully soon, if I can find a decent deal.

I just got one of these 4 lt. Clace Azul, fortunately I got mine full and it is a very impressive and heavy bottle, it comes with a metal base with the Clace Azul logo embossed in it. It will definitely be a great item to have in any tequila display, good luck on your quest Mr A

Where did you get yours? I was happy that it wasn't full, that would be a heavy bottle to bring back in a suitcase.

I got mine through a friend in San Diego. I can ask if he has any more available to him if you like?

I still can't find any information or a picture on this tequila. Anyone know where to look or have a pic?
