Default Sorry for the dumb question.

Hi all I'm new to tequila and the forum. My question is this - are all of the black with gold paint Casa Noble bottles the 5 year old anejo. I have the opportunity to buy several for under $100 and was wondering if they were worth my while.

I suggest you buy one... if you like it buy the rest... these normally sold for about $75...

I personally do not like it; I prefer their new SB-5Y.

The Casa Noble 5yr you're talking about is their blend that is now no longer in production.
Personally, it's my favorite, I like it a smidge more than the 5yr single barrel (though that is fantastic as well).

Locally it sold for $85. So if its less than $100, thats not bad at all for a beloved out of production tequila.

PS: If you dont want them, point us to them, there are at least a few on these boards that would love to get their hands on those bottles

I was always taught that no question is ever dumb! I personally love that 5yr. juice from CN. If I were you I would buy up as many as you can afford! They are becoming harder and harder to find anymore. IMHO, the intense and distinct flavor of that gem of a tequila is hard to beat! That juice has always been one of my special occasion-pour a snifter-N.Y. sirloin-fire up the cuban cigar-life is good XA! I have my eye on a bottle that I scoped out recently but right now it's tough for me to shell out the $85 price tag.
