Default Trader Joes "Tequila Zapopan"

I use this tequila for Margaritas and it seem to taste great. The Blanco from TJ is also good. Does anybody else like or dislike it? Considering the price $10, it's not bad. Is there something similar or better at same price?

thx.

PS- Anybody like the Trader Joe Patron version?

It says it's 100% agave on the blanco tequila. Is it not real??

Talking who needs Patron when you have Zapopan.

My friends and I have fall'n in love with Zapopan's 100% silver for it's taste (great for sipping) and the fact we've been on multiple mild benders with Zapopan alone and non of us have had any hangovers, headaches, or even the slightest after effects the next morning. Don't tell too many people about this or we'll see the price rocket. You can't beat Zapopan. 10 bucks, taste good, and no hangover.

A typical rule of liqueur is, clear you're in the clear(most of the time). Any alcohol mixed with sweet stuff might give you a hangover. It's typicaly the sugars that cause it.

Viva 10 dollar Zapopan
Enjoy

A cursory search on the net for Zapopan yielded multiple posts stating the brand was cane spirit blended mixtos. However that may have changed recently according to this blog post which states Zapopan has apparently made the switch to 100% Agave. Just look at the label to be sure as the older stock may still be around.

The Booze Blog: Tequila Zapopan Blanco - quick review

There is a TJ's nearby so I'll be giving Zapopan a try in the near future.

I see Zapopan all the time, but have always dismissed it since it is so cheap. Tonight I saw a bottle of the 100% Zapopan repo. Maybe I'll give it a shot...or a sip. Even if it is mixable, it would save a few bucks.
