Great topic. Please excuse me if my reply sounds curt; I am on the road and writing on my phone.
No offense, but some of these are just plain wrong, and others could benefit from a bit of context. * A "corrido" is a Mexican song form, similar to a ballad.* "Asomobroso" might be better translated as "shocking," which makes sense in the context of their bottle shape.* "Mejor" might be better translated as "best." "Penca" in this context refers to the spines of the agave.* "Patrón" is not "boss" in the moderm sense; *it is more of a medieval word. Think landowner, patron, etc. Somehow on whom you depend to earn your living. "Gran" makes it a great one. "Partida" is the surname of an agave-growing/tequila-making family in Amatitán.* 7 Leguas, PVO and Maestro Dobel could use some contextualization as well, but it's too much for phone typing. ![]() Translation is an art, and words almost never have a simple "x=y" relationship across languages.* Salud, and Feliz Navidad.*
