I also got the bad news I guess, I ordered mine a little too late......hopefully I'll get a chance to get a couple of them whenever they get the rest of them. Time will tell...
Salud,
Pedro

Talking Some good news!

so it's about 3:30 this afternoon and my phone rings, guess who it was? Park Avenue Liquors, they came across 6 bottles in their store room, and my name was high enough on the list that I got a phone call; went in and picked up my two bottles; #27 and #29; woohoo! Happy Christmas to me! Hope some of you guys got a call about them, otherwise good luck in January.

I got bottle 195/300 from barrel 73 on thursday. This stuff is everything promised and then some. I might buy another here shortly since I've been pulling off this one a lil too much. Apparently they got their addition shipment and have roughly 20 bottles left. The time is now fella's.

My wife was in Manhattan last month and picked me up 2 bottles, I'm saving one and will crack the other one open on Easter.

Default 6 years too long?

Isn't the anejo form aged in wood containers? Wouldn't 7 years be too long since the wood aromas overtake the actual tequila flavors? From what I read, aging tequila more than a year in wood containers will just end up making the tequila taste like the wood it was aged in. But I have never tried this so please let us all know how it is.
