so it's about 3:30 this afternoon and my phone rings, guess who it was? Park Avenue Liquors, they came across 6 bottles in their store room, and my name was high enough on the list that I got a phone call; went in and picked up my two bottles; #27 and #29; woohoo! Happy Christmas to me! Hope some of you guys got a call about them, otherwise good luck in January.

Isn't the anejo form aged in wood containers? Wouldn't 7 years be too long since the wood aromas overtake the actual tequila flavors? From what I read, aging tequila more than a year in wood containers will just end up making the tequila taste like the wood it was aged in. But I have never tried this so please let us all know how it is.
